Today we went golfing with Landon, Britt, and Eric Miller. Well, the boys golfed and we cheered them on from the carts. :)

Kennywood
Chanthoeun Barrus, Brittney Wimmer, Stacie Dorius, and I went to an amusement park here in Pittsburgh called Kennywood. Besides Britt getting sick, Stacie's phone flying off a ride into a lake, and Chanthoeun loosing money on a ride we had a blast! It was pretty much like Lagoon, same type of rides and stuff. They had the oldest wooden roller coaster in America. Pretty cool!

National Aviary
Today I went to the National Aviary with April and Ava Toone. We had a lot of fun looking at all of the different birds they had. These are some of my favorite ones
The flamingos were my favorite, half cause they're pink and half cause they're so petite and graceful. There was a baby flamingo walking around outside, (bottom right) I learned that they are born gray and not hot pink. The one on the top right I liked cause of its sweet hair do!Ava was trying to talk to this bird. She's so cute. I liked this bird until I found out its a breed of pigeon!
Here we are waiting for the bird show to start, by the look on Ava's face it had better start soon! :)

Pool Day
I thought I'd post a sample of a more typical day out here in Pittsburgh which includes one common factor... the pool! It's actually not normal for Ty and I to get some pool time together so one morning before the guys went out a group of us went for a swim.

Pittsburgh Beauty
We pulled over on the side of the road to play in this beautiful flower field. I have to give props to Chanthoeun for taking these great pics since my camera died.

Logan-New York-Phoenix-Pittsburgh
Since the last post plans have quite changed. I dont want to babble on about our whole summer but some explanation might be necessary as to how we got to this point of living in Pittsburgh and planning a move to New York City.
As was posted before, I was interning in New York this summer, well that internship turned into a job offer. So once Tyler and I were together and able to talk and ponder about this together we've decided to go! I start Sept. 1 so we'll be moving at the end of the month.
I was so excited to join Tyler in Phoenix but I was only there 5 days before Ty suggested we move to Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh has been a gold mine for sales and we wanted to join in! So after packing up all of our things (that I had just gotten settled a few days prior), and a million dollars in flights we were in our car headed to Salt Lake City to drop off our things and fly to Pitt. We made it to the Hoover Dam and apparently its really beautiful there because our car refused to leave. We had to get towed to a small town outside of Las Vegas where our car had to spend the night until it could be fixed in the AM. My uncle Randy and cousins came to our rescue and we spent the night playing games and catching up with family! The next day Tyler had a flight to Pitt at noon and we were still in Las Vegas so another million dollars in flight changes later, he flew from Las Vegas to Pitt and I was left with a broken down car full of all our stuff. Luckily our car was fixed and I made it to my parent's safely.
I spent a wonderful week with my family before Ty came to Utah to see his brother and sister-in-law get sealed in the Temple. Then we flew back to Pitt together. We have really enjoyed it here, the weather is great (especially compared to Phoenix) and we're here with a lot of our good friends so its been way fun. The other night we went on our first date in a long time due to the fact we've been apart most of the summer and since we've been back together we've been traveling across America. So it was so nice to sit down and talk, the amazing food was a plus too :)
There are a lot of married couples here so while the guys are out working hard we get together and play hard. We went to the Carnegie Science Center the other day. It was way fun and I even learned some new things. I even got to explore a real submarine.
Yesterday we went to Falling Water, a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was so amazing and so beautiful. The design and construction was so unique. I loved it!
I never thought I would be standing in that spot and take my own version of this infamous picture.
The way he designed this house was to have as little separation between the outside and the inside as possible. Like having the glass die into the rock wall, there is virtually no separation from the outside. It was so ingenious.
That brings us up to date! I'll try to do better so the posts are not so long and spread out.
