I had the rare opportunity to view a penthouse in the Plaza Hotel so I took the interns for a little field trip!

We grabbed some lunch and ate in Washington Square Park while we watched a movie being filmed. Cool!

It was a beautiful course and only 20 minutes from the city!

I know it's my fault for getting him these clubs but I have become a golf widow lately. The old man that worked there knew Tyler...

Mom's Trip pt. I

For Mother's Day this year, my Dad surprised my Mom with a trip out here to visit us!

Enjoying some Long Island City.

We spent a day in Central Park. We did the row boats which was so fun!

Another day spent at the Brooklyn Flea. It was set up in the Williamsburgh Savings Bank which is the tallest building in Brooklyn and one of the tallest four-sided clock towers in the world. The space was beautiful and the booths were fun. My best find was these vintage typewriter key cuff links that I got for pops with his initials for Father's Day! We saw In The Heights and it quickly shot up to my #2 fav Broadway show. (Close second to Wicked). We all LOVED it. Corbin Bleu was perfect!

Taking a break from shopping in Bryant Park

We went to the Big Apple BBQ in MSP. We enjoyed a free sandwich and especially the short line at the Shake Shack where we enjoyed a vanilla custard with fresh strawberries and orange poppy caramel. A-MAZING!

Thanks to the heads up from a friend, I saw my first celebrity. Tyler and I have just gotten into Lost (we have 6 episodes left!) so I was THRILLED to see a member of the cast, even if it wasn't Jack.

Craft Fair!

That's right! I dragged Tyler to the Craft Fair. This is a magical place where Etsy comes to life and makes all your dreams come true.
