6 Month Old Maddox

Maddox turned 6 months old this month. This was the perfect age to do a photoshoot because he is full of personality!! Our friend Cami did just such a great job capturing his many expressions.

We wanted to snap some family shots as well. It is so fun being a family of 3. We are having the time of our lives!

LOVES
You have discovered your tongue! I thought it might be broken for a few days, it was constantly out! It sure makes for cute smiles.

You've really been working on your abs, you can now go from laying on your back to sitting up. So strong!

We were in a public restroom and there was a little baby just crying and crying and you got this sad look on your face and began to cry as well. You're so empathetic!

Your smiles are now shared with everyone even strangers.

The bouncer has become one of your favorite activities. You're in there bouncing for like an hour a day!

You started to eat cereal! You eat it like a champ, messy but you love it. 

Along with your tongue you've discovered your toes make pretty good chew toys.

During one of your cereal feedings you took a bite and then sneezed it all over Dad's face. Hilarious!!

HATES
You were enjoying some time in the Bumbo and dropped your toy so you were leaning so hard to get it and out you went. My super-mom reflexes caught you before you hit the floor, good thing I was RIGHT there.

Speaking of falling, we had a bed episode. I wasn't aware you could roll over, and over, and over and over. 5 times landing you in my arms mid-air. Another super-mom experience. We now spend a lot of time on the floor instead of elevated surfaces :)

Happy 1/2 Birthday little boy. You are the light of our lives!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We have gotten a good head start on our Christmas activities list this year! 

As always, the Festival of Trees doesn't disappoint. The boy was in awe and we enjoyed the variety and beauty!

These are a few of my favs. 

1-Can't go wrong with a Barbie tree! 2-Loved the ski star 3-Barbie! 4-Girl Scout Cookie tree, I wish their cookies really came this size! 5-I heart NY :)

 We ventured to the Gateway to see the newly light tree and attempt to make a dent in our Christmas shopping.

 I thought FOR SURE my bubbly, friendly baby wouldn't have the typical response to Santa...I was wrong. Mom leaving him in the hands of a large hairy man brought forth the tears!

PS the free photos with Santa at RC Willey are worth what you pay :( Wish I would have captured my own.

We gathered with the whole Lynch crew and enjoyed a meal and stroll through the lights at Temple Square. I think they've upgraded their lights to LED this year because they are VIBRANT! Beautiful as always.

We are having fun getting in the Christmas spirit!
