"Stevie Nicks Chateau Chic"

I have been working on this project in Park City, UT since March. It was SO amazing to finally see it to the end and everything came together flawlessly! I love the hints of rock n' roll while staying sophisticated and funky. Can you find all the hidden glitter?

ENTRY
GREAT ROOM
KITCHEN
I didn't completely re-do the kitchen but selected the new leather wrapped hardware, concrete countertops, sink, faucet and the chic gradient backsplash.
Cool fact: the concrete countertops maker is formerly known as Bobby Brady from the Brady Bunch!!

DINING ROOM

I designed this dining table and am so in love with how it turned out! The best part you can't totally see but the grain pattern is infused with gold GLITTER!!

I love my job.

An SLC Christmas

It was nice this year getting back into the Christmas traditions I grew up with. Temple Square is at the top of the list and we found ourselves enjoying it multiple times.

We began our Christmas Eve with the annual trip to see the lights. It wasn't too cold this year which was so nice.

Then we warmed up with Tim Tam Slams. LOVE them!

We woke up and did the whole presents/stocking thing. Then enjoyed a delicious breakfast! We spent the rest of the day with Tyler's family but had too much fun for pics, oops.

We really loved spending Christmas with our families this year. Next year...baby will be with us!!

Christmas Part-ay!

Tyler, his brother Mackay, his wife Amanda and I went to a Christmas party this week at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The food-awesome! The company-fun! The games-entertaining! The night-enjoyed!

This was our view as we sat at our table for dinner. The temple and the lights on Temple Square looked so beautiful!

So here we are showing off our random white elephant winnings. China cola?! Who's ever heard of that?

Our "wife's gift" was some Mac. Boo ya!

The tree in the lobby of JSMB is so beautiful. The architecture, decor and atmosphere created a magical feeling in that space.

The HEAT'S too hot for the Jazz

We started this delightful evening at the Market Street Grill. I must admit, we were first-timers and we were not disappointed. The food was delish! (they could use some design help in the space though)

I have been dying to go to a Jazz game and this was not a bad one to start out with. Utah Jazz vs. Miami Heat. I have had a slight crush on LeBron since I watched him YEARS ago in a high school slam dunk contest (on TV) but I gained a new crush on D. Wade too. He's good, that's hot.
We got a late start but I hope to go to many more Jazz games this season. They are fun!!

Festival of Trees

I LOVE the Festival of Trees. Year after year they never disappoint. There are always new, creative, and beautiful trees.
This year I paid extra attention to the children the trees were decorated for, it was very touching. I was so wrapped up in enjoying the exhibit that I didn't take one pic of the trees so I borrowed from the site.

So fun spending the evening with Ty's brothers and their wives (and babe!)

What good looking brothers!

Week 13
