This last weekend my family gathered from all over the country to celebrate the life of my Uncle Randy who lost his 5 year battle with cancer.
It was an emotional weekend. Joy for my uncle to not be suffering anymore, sadness for his family that he left behind, love for my family that hadn't been together in 5 years, and thankfulness for my knowledge of the plan of salvation. The spirit was very present and my testimony was strengthened this weekend.
Lots and lots of family/cousin time. We had so much of fun!
Of course we seized the opportunity to snap some family photos.
One night we went to downtown Frederick, MD. It was so cute with shops and live music being played on every street. There was this area along a little river that we really enjoyed.
The fire dancer was COOL!!s
It was a fabulous weekend reminding us of the beautiful blessing of eternal families.

sorry to hear about your uncle! I have a cousin suffering right now and she just wants to go. But as hard as it is we know they will be happy and we will see them again! And being with family is always fun!!
